The UK cover is different but if you look at the book she is holding here and then compare to the UK version, you will see a similar thing.  The UK version fits with the book more and the inside of the book as it has cartoon illustrations. The US cover is infitting with Picoult's other books, which makes me wonder if this is the reason it is like this, so that her 'fans' are interested to read it as such.

UK VERSION-NOTE DIFFERENT RELEASE DATE TOO.

  • Publisher: Hodder & Stoughton (5 July 2012)
  • Language English

What happens when happily ever after…isn’t?

Delilah is a bit of a loner who prefers spending her time in the school library with her head in a book—one book in particular. Between the Lines may be a fairy tale, but it feels real. Prince Oliver is brave, adventurous, and loving. He really speaks to Delilah.

And then one day Oliver actually speaks to her. Turns out, Oliver is more than a one-dimensional storybook prince. He’s a restless teen who feels trapped by his literary existence and hates that his entire life is predetermined. He’s sure there’s more for him out there in the real world, and Delilah might just be his key to freedom.

Delilah and Oliver work together to attempt to get Oliver out of his book, a challenging task that forces them to examine their perceptions of fate, the world, and their places in it. And as their attraction to each other grows along the way, a romance blossoms that is anything but a fairy tale.

Why do i want to read this? Oh gosh, so many reasons. I love Picoult's books, her writing style is just so fitting with the novels.  Also this book, all little girls love the idea of princes, happy ever afters, fairytales, princesses etc.  All this wrapped in a book which isn't aimed at 6year olds, but with romance and mystery and maybe some heartache and tears.  Sounds amazing, i cannot wait to read it :) I hope it lives up to expectations.
Please note; Images of the covers are from Amazon and the 'blurb' from Goodreads.com

    1. I haven't read this book but i would say definitely read some of her books before this. I am only saying this because it's a duo author book and i get a bit doubtful how it may 'change' her writing style, but it may amplify it so give it a go :) If you don't like this book, still read some of her books. She has a lovely way with words and storylines; what book do you have to read of hers? x
